1more week and more

One more week in the interleague jailhouse and im a freebird again..... Good thing because the monkey and the bimbo in the next cell over are quite stinky , wonder if the guards will hose them down before they get let out?
I loved mindis post on her blog about seeing Pantera in 92 etc (her blog link is at the bottom of the page). Damn that brought back memories of my last year as a single guy. I went and saw Pantera/WhiteZombie at 328 performance hall in Nahville in 92 and i got to watch soundchecks, meet both bands and party after the show. I have several autographs and mementos/photos from that event too. The best part about the show was the place was small and when mindi said there was nothing like a pantera mosh pit she was not lying , i am a survivor and i have pictures . That was the loudest wildest most awesome show i ever saw, and i have seen Metallica, Slayer , Iron Maiden The Monsters of Rock show in memphis tn , countless concerts and nothing compared to it. I guess i will always be a little bit fucking hostile too lol.... Somms/White-Tank was quoting song lyrics in the syn lobby from a pantera song called Walk , i dont think he gets the message from the song tho. I got 4 words for ya somms .... Walk on home , Boy!!! Finally while im at it a song of the week , no word because i dont feel like it .... The song is Prisoner by Iron Maiden and here are the lyrics

Iron T.D.s

I know every tourney director out there deserves recognition for providing tournaments for the rabble but I especially want to put in a word of thanks to 2 who continually amaze me with their iron nerves and ability to direct . Hollypeenyo and Ivystung can be counted on to have at least 1 tourney on the schedule almost every night of the week and they host late night tourneys as well which is usually my only time to play. Thanks both of ya!! You are both a big part of what makes this game worth playing.

This entry is about trust not about rules or other bullshit. Once again i have left Extremeox without having played a game since my return a day or two ago. I rejoined at the request of friends and a couple of the admins , applied to td again so that i might help out there on Sundays and at Interleague Saturdays once my penalty time is up. To my surprise i got an email from roguish which i shall reprint here .
Jeff,We have a 2 week rejoin rule to keep people from resetting their ladder stats. Although I know this is not the issue in your case the rule still holds. I have not formally boxed you because of Rose approving your TD request. However, I have set your status to vacation and it will remain so until next Saturday night December 9th. On vacation status you will not be allowed to play or host so this serves the purpose w/o formally boxing you. I hope you understand.RonRoguish

Ron i was asked to come back no strings attached. The reason for this being that i am the creator of extremeox and should Ayla ever step down i will resume the HA title member or not.I had second thoughts about tding and was going to ask duncs to remove me as a td so you can go ahead and do that.

I had reapplied to td on sundays and had second thoughts and was going to have duncs remove me. then i got this note from ron which cemented it. granted i can understand how the rule would apply to the average joe/jane but i am not the average joe , regardless of whatever happens i created the league and i dont feel this was right. (meaning that i was asked to rejoin)

First of all, the rules stand for everyone. eXtreme admin DID change a few rules this past week; however, the rejoin rule was not one of them.
Second of all, anyone can father a league. It's kind of like making a baby. True, you started extreme, but I've had this league for over a year, and in the UNlikely event I EVER step down as HA, it will be up to ME who gets the position, not you. Just because you created the league in the beginning doesn't give you title to a damn thing.
I DO have yahoo chat logs where you say you don't ever want extreme back, Jeff. Even if you did, it's MY choice, as HA, who I would give this league to. It will not be you.
Creating eXtreme doesn't give you exclusive rights to the rules being bent for you. You've done basically NOTHING for eXtreme in the past year. You hardly hosted, you undermined my decisions concerning minifrump, and the list goes on.
If you choose to come back to extreme or not, that's your business. You'll follow the rules the same as any other member, if you ever return.
Again, I'm telling you...if I EVER give up the HA of eXtremeOX, it will be to the person of MY choice. That would most definately be someone who gives of their time and does what's best for extremeox.
Now I'm sure I've pissed you off again, but that's life. I'm not kissing anyone's ass. eXtreme is a privately owned league, and it's owned by ME. I think I've MORE than paid my dues for the title of HA.

thats fine ayla , im not pissed off about the rule thing or anything else . Yes its owned by you solely because i put my trust in you and you were welcome to it .I was asked to rejoin, after i withdrew THEN the rules thing came up. We did have an agreement when i gave you the HA that if you ever stepped down as HA it would come back to me and you recently asked me that if anything happened to you would i take care of it and i said yes (i have that in yahoo chat ). I dont want extreme back and would have only taken it back to see it passed into capable hands. As far as your decisions on mini , they were stupid. Im not asking you to kiss my ass or anyone elses ass . In the unlikely event that you do step down and dont honor our agreement when i made the decision to pass extreme on to you all i can say is i evidently misplaced my trust .

Now for a bit of ox history
When i left Wordplay i joined Synergy under my original wordox name perrin. I had always been drawn to synergy because of the level of competition there. I even played there under fake names when i was a wordplay member. When you have players the calibre of Wordman , Dorcas Nanc Kate Queenie Holly Cleopatra2u Joey Ivystung Cait , the list goes on and on and if you are an avid player like myself you want to test yourself against the best and learn from them. Even so when social 2 came open kissthis65 dared me to create a league there. I did create extremeox. A lot of people put a lot of work into the league and its a decent league. Creating that league however didnt stop me from playing at synergy and eventually after Kiss stepped down for personal reasons i decided i didnt want the headache of running a league. I passed on the HA title to Ayla on the understanding that if anything ever happened that she should quit or need to step down i would take back over until i found a replacement i thought suitable. Many many people know this and for her to write what she wrote didnt piss me off, it saddened me that i placed my trust in someone who obviously doesnt deserve it. An example is interleague, a grand idea but a broken trust as far as Wordplay was concerned.
I created Extremeox , i wish it the best, i hope it survives and flourishes. I will miss being a part of it on the 2 days a week i can actually get in games there . For true students of the game and those wishing to improve their game i named a number of players that can teach you words and strategies beyond belief. If i rejoin extremeox in 2 weeks which is the time i must wait to avoid another jail term it will only be because im a tourney hound.

The Punishment.

I was informed today by email that I along with monkeyboy and bimbogirl would be sentenced to 2 weeks in the penalty box for our parts in the saturday night fight. Let it be known that i did write a letter of apology to the admins and the td since i didnt keep my trap shut.
On another noteI hope they put they dont put us all in the same cell , i dont want to be subjected to watching them toss each others salads. Maybe my pard will bust me outta the joint before i hafta see any such gruesome sights like that. Anyway i will do my time and when the penalty is over i will decide what to do from there , be it stay in interleague or quit playing Saturdays. cya at the tables....

Anonymous Again wtf?

Ok , since Anonymous Oliveria and someone else i didnt bother to investigate couldnt get it thru their thick skulls when i said that i would remove posts without a name it seems i need to take it up a notch. When anyone posts a comment in the future it will require my approval before it appears. What that means is that i will receive an email with the comment and from there i will accept or reject it as i see fit which will mean a delay in comments showing up. And Olivia if you want to spar with Richard leave your name... simple? I think so. Otherwise if you cant run with the big dogs stay on the porch. So far the only comments i have removed have been the anonymous comments. I hope thats clear enough for anyone and everyone that has something to say here. And yes i left his comments because he did understand and leave his name. I might as well add that im not afraid to accept comments that flame me . As long as i can verify that the name left is truly who they say they are i will accept the comments.

New Rule

If you want to leave a comment on my blog you will need to leave your wordox/screen name . I will check ip if necessary to verify who you are. Anonymous comments will be removed. to leave a comment if you arent a registered user select the button marked other. no need to leave a web page just a name .

Interleague

As i advocated in an earlier post punishments may be handed down for those involved in the fracas at interleague Saturday. That being the case i rejoined Interleague and will take whatever punishment the remaining Admins decide to hand out. I was wrong as an admin to engage in a lobby fight and i hope the others that got involved that are in positions of power at other leagues realize their mistake as well.
I do hope that after they do whatever it is they think needs doing they decide to find out whether United is going to continue getting free exposure while venturing nothing. And if they wise up and United continues their non-participation i hope that the powers- that- be rid Interleague of the crap that United left on the doorstep, since you have to be a member of a participating league to play at Interleague. That being said im ready to take my punishmet, bring on the Singapore cane!!

Punishment etc

Ok , for my part in the incident at interleague i gave up my position as an admin and withdrew from the league. I figure a 30 day exile is plenty of punishment. If the powers that be feel that more is needed when i rejoin then so be it. What concerns me is the punishment for other people involved. Ceedie and Amplify have been around leagues long enough to know the rules, Amp especially seeing he has been banned from 2 of them for being a cheating piece of trash. Plenty of chat logs are available and other experienced players shot off at the mouth too. I suppose a light tap on the hand and a bad boy/bad girl is all that can truly be expected for any of them considering that the root of the whole problem , WordoxUnited , which joined the interleague setup, Never hosted a tourney on their weekend and deposited a Monkeyturd on the doorstep has never been brought to heel for their rude actions in not helping out. The old saying burn me once shame on you burn me twice shame on me never occured to anyone who allowed Amplify to join interleague or United.
Now on to Extremeox. If the restrictions on minifrump are dropped i will rejoin. A person has the right to be silent if they so choose. Many players dont say gg or gl or ty for t. So what!! Play them, beat them or lose and move on. If she were to resort to cursing a td or admin or cheating i can understand boxing or banning but otherwise i will maintain my stance.
As far as Oxfest goes they can continue to wallow in obscurity. They are very lucky in the fact that they have a person of Mummykins calibre to give them a touch of class and they should be proud of her tireless work promoting interleague for their group.

Ok Ok

The comments here, the private messages and the emails i have received on what i thought would be my final post are very much appreciated. Im glad i have been able to make some of you laugh, im even happier that i have been able to piss off a few , and i will do my best to continue doing both as long as I can.
Later today after i have given it some thought i will add a post about the situation last weekend. So on that note I do want to thank those who openly posted , Richard , and my pard "The Spicy One" Hollypeenyo, Aspy and Rick. The ones who emailed , ymed and pmed me , Thank you as well , your support has been tremendous and means the world to me . Cya at the tables ;-)

Final Post

This is it folks the last post on this blog. I want to say that i have enjoyed running my mouth here , talking about wordox , bashing cheaters , bragging about me and my pard Holly and our partners exploits etc. I did remove my angry post from last night. I am not pissed off anymore , i do see the light however i do have a few things to say to a few people. To the Admins i worked with at Interleague , I apologize for my lobby comments, i was very unprofessional , in engaging in a lobby fight with Amplify and Ceedie. I still feel that a person PROVEN to be a cheater in 2 leagues should never have been allowed to join Interleague and will stand by that to the end.
Due to my actions last night i felt it best that i withdraw from interleague and did so. Due to 2 administrators from oxfest running their mouths in the lobby last night instead of backing up the TD and waiting for private email to settle the issue i withdrew from that league. As for Extremeox(my former home league that i created) i withdrew there as well.... i have been on the verge a couple of times in the past few months anyway but a comment from Ayla last night saying that im hurting Interleague when she bans a person( minifrump, who has always been a good friend to me) just for not saying hi , more than once i might add ,just iced the cake. Thats a double standard in my eyes so i left.
I also apologize to Barb, the situation got out of control very fast barb and you held yourself together very well and i applaud you for that.
I apologize to my Partner Holypeenyo , we had some good times and kicked some ass and i also applaud you for your unwavering stand in your boycott of Amplify even when i begged you to play them in Pards. I should have done the same thing and kept my mouth shut but i didnt.
Once more i apologize to Cait Mummy and Lady for having to deal with the aftermath of all this. Have fun all of you i hope to compete with most of you somewher edown the road.

Interleague Saturday

Attendance was ok saturday. Ricky had to help his sister move again so he didnt play much. You still owe me that ladderset too, Rick. The toilet overflowed at 1 point and Amp and Lilbas rode in on a wave.
Dorcas hosted 1 tourney with 16 people in it wich is considered a big tourney at cases. I won it and got a gold bar on my tourney player card heheh. She (Dorcas)also sent the gorilla cruising last night in my lose you cruise single elim to win the final tourney of the evening Wtg Dor!!.
In Partners Pepperrin beat DoJo by a seconde ;-) to claim a share of first place. We would have won it all but we refused to play the dubious duo known as V for V.D. After that was all said and done Most of us moved on over to Synergys Bar and had a blowout which i will cover in another post.

Living after Midnight

Wow!! The joint was jumping in the Synergy room for Barbs drunkox tourneys. At one point counting tourney players ,watchers and the td i think the room total was 16 people. Helluva crowd and lots of fun. Thanks Barb for hosting. I will write more about it and the Interleague part of Saturday tonight or tomorrow.

My wife , God bless her , keeps an eye on my internet activities , feeds me , cleans up after me etc.... has been watching this thing Olivia started Saturday morning and made the following observation.... " Jeff , whether she is male or female is beside the point...and I do believe she is female, whats going on here is the poor sow is obviously attracted to you." After i finished hurling chunks , i politely thanked her for ruining my day and asked her about clean clothes.
Now that im wised up to whats going on here i refer you back to my Penis Envy post Olivia. I promise you if you come to the States we will find a guy to take one for the team and do ya even if we have to get him liquored up (foregone conclusion) to do it. Im sorry that i personally wont be able to take care of that for you for 2 reasons . One...there aint enough whiskey in Tennessee to drink the ugly off of you and two im married and i dont fool around. Sorry (not) but its just got to be that way. Maybe we can hook you up with Rickety , i think he is single and Kentucky has a lot of whiskey for him to drink before he does the dirty deed. Sorry Ricky but i think you owe the team this one. Penis Envy

Olivia aka QuestinMadness made a few statements Saturday morning in the interleague room that i feel need to be shared here with anyone who reads this. Apparently she believes that wordox is a girlie game and that the men who are good at wordox are gay. HMMMMMM that takes thinking about..... I know i am good at wordox yet i have never felt the urge to go up the old dirt road with any man, i am married to a beautiful woman who bore me a lovely daughter.
Joey aka Bigwurm is good at the game and he married Dorcas, a good looking woman, which is not the action any normal gay man would take. Richard aka Wordman is married.... never seen his wife but i know Richard prefers breast meat as well and his skill at the game is without doubt.
Olivia , just because you arent as successful against top rated men players as you are against unranked or low ranked newbies (always with your rules) doesnt mean that you need to envy our peckers or call us gay. If like you say cant get find a good man in greece (gee wonder why that is ? ) cmon over here to the good old U.S.A where im sure there will be a few good men willing to take one for the team and throw the meat to ya no matter what you look like.
