The Balls Bomb

On my partners blog she posed the following question ....Why is it that, in the middle of a verbal battle, someone always brings up balls?} The answer, my Spicy friend , is that no matter how big the set of grapefruits a guy has the "balls" are the most vulnerable point of attack an oppenent can strike out at. Some women , lacking a set of testicles, do have ( except for Oliver who claims to have found a set, if Oliver really is a woman) and some men also have what i like to refer to as testicular fortitude which can also be vulnerable to attack. Thats why my first rule of battle is "Kick em in the nads if ya can" and im sure im not alone in that philosophy.
People who dare to be controversial are always subject to an attack on the balls, or lack of said testicles. When you dare to put your thoughts in print you are 99.9% guaranteed of a ball attack. And before i forget reading of a ball attack or writing about a swift kick in the nuts can also be very funny :-) People love balls and some love attacking them !! I hope what i wrote helps with the answer to your question :-)

ugh

Wordox is down, the hoyle overflow must have overloaded wordsteal too because its down. In times past you could get a fix at one or the other but today noooooooooo. I went and played some scrabble yesterday and some low rated genius accused me of using a "word builder" because i was winning the game. Apparently he had never seen words like quern and veep. I told him he was a dickhead and that if he was across a real table from me i would gladly punch him in the nose. Im really lucky i guess that i cant punch every asshole on the internet because either someone would shoot me or have me arrested pretty soon. On a happier note Team Pepperrin successfully defended the EXOX tag team titles Sunday night, it was a bloodbath but none of the blood was ours :-) Have a good day! p.s. Bite me Olivia

Olivers post

Says Olivia "Tell me Jeff,How can you remember all these weird words you impress us with when you have such a short memory span? Because, otherwise, I can not really explain the fact that within less than 2 months you forgot Shaddy s eviction from this wonderful league, all because of ... let me see how you called them ... "as nice as you will find anywhere , very unpretentious" players.Oliver "
Well Oliver , its like this.... I havent forgotten Shadows eviction, i thought it was bullshit then and i think its bullshit now. The players didnt evict Shad, the admin did. Still i said what i did
"as nice as you will find anywhere , very unpretentious" because of the very warm welcome i got from most of the players upon my return. Shadow was evicted because of a couple of unfounded complaints from a couple of players who actually had no proof of anything and those complaints in my opinion were foolishly acted upon in an unreasonable manner by the admin, who by the way did not all vote to evict the kid, the vote was not unanimous but it was their choice to make because at the begging of the league name it states MY LEAUGE which means the admins can do whatever the hell they want. My return was based on the fact that me and my hotty partner Holly get to play pards in a league that doesnt have monkeypox. Also my words are no weirder than yours so bite me :-) P.S. Bite me again:-)

Extremeox

I have said a lot of bad things about some of the leagues and some good stuff about a few of them too. When i said that the toughest competion is to be found at Synergy i stand by that. However with crossover players all the leagues are tough but i want to say something about Exox now. I created Exox and i missed playing there when i left and upon my return i discovered that the players there are as nice as you will find anywhere , very unpretentious, and i appreciate them welcoming me back with open arms.. Kudos to the Extremists.
Also it wouldnt be me to not throw in a brag... its nice to have that Extremeox title belt back where it belongs, hanging on my shoulder as i strut into the Extreme Asylum :P

The anonymous post i referred to

here it is Anonymous said...
"you must be referring to the truly great egos as its quite evident your arrogance and demeanor hasnt improved one bit. "
Yes you nutless wonder i am still as arrogant as ever and if you dont like it tough titty. As a matter of fact i thought i had improved my arrogance a bit in my off time and im sad that you think it hasnt gotten any better. As far as ego goes if you read anything on this site since i started it and im sure you have, i have stated that ego makes the game a lot more fun and a lot less stuffy. So asshole, leave a name next time so that i know exactly who to frame my replies to.
God this is fun i missed it!! BTW Team Pepperrin kicked ass tonight, thanks for being there Pard!

anonymous comments

In the previous post if you read the comments left i appreciate the wbs... ty .... and if you want to leave an anonymous comment i dont mind as long as its nice but if you are going to say something derogatory have the balls to leave your name. Its easy to talk shit when you arent letting people know who you are. Sprout some stones and leave a name.

Ox Vacation is Over

My vacation from regular competition is over!! I rejoined extremeox today, primarily because i miss playing in partners tourneys with my bad ass pard "The Spicy One" Hollypeenyo but also because i missed seeing alot of the players i have grown to know over the years. I am not rusty thanks to being able to get in games at WordSteal on my time off.
WordSteal by the way , has implemented the TWL2 wordlist which drops some words and added about 400 new ones. I will post some of those new words later for those that care.
Back to Exox.... i won my first 2 tourneys back and victory was toooo sweeeeeeeeet as usual ;-)
Hopefully Team Pepperrin can get in some tourneys at Accord and FSW as time and circumstances permit since they are the only other groups that we play in that offer pards.
On a side note a player a few nights ago mentioned that a certain Interleague team needed shaking up but from what i see and hear the truly great teams have no interest in playing the chimp and his bimbo (who has 1 funny ass profile if you care to read it, she(the bimbo) has nerve talking about belittling other people when she calls Wordman a pompous ass in public).
On to happier matters, thanks to the Exox admins Aylalei Ron Duncs and Rosey for the welcome back, i truly appreciate it.

Rambling

Congrats to the Colts on their SuperBowl victory, maybe the sportswriters will get off of Peytons back now. I have followed his career since his college days at the Univeristy of Tennessee and im glad he finally won a big 1.
Enough on that.... Earlier in the week i wrote a note to "The Spicy One" asking her if she maybe wanted to rejoin Interleague and get in a few pards matches. She declined , stating that she was glad to be away from that mess and after seeing another weekend that was supposed to be hosted by United yet had no United tds hosting tourneys with Shadow and Mumm once again taking the load i cant help but agree with her. She (Holly) is the brains of the partnership anyway. Once again that piece of trash Amplify the league killer gets his way, when are people going to wise up to this guy and see that he is poison?
Enough about that asswipe, see ya all at the tables whenever i can get away from work :-)

Reading list and more

I havent been playing much lately, been enjoying the time away. Someone gave me a John Grisham novel a few weeks ago, i didnt think i would get into it but i was pleasantly surprised and i went on and read The Rainmaker, The Firm, The Summons, A Painted House , The Client and i am currently reading The King of Torts. I also read the first 2 books in the Dean Koontz Frankenstein Trilogy , I am not big on horror having been burnt out on the vampire stuff Anne Rice put out but they were good. Also read the Geodyssey trilogy by Piers Anthony, one of my favorite writers , it was his fictionalized takes on the origins of man, pretty good reading. Also read a couple of books by Alan Dean Foster in the Pip and Flinx series, he is always a favorite.
Watched a few movies, Accepted , college movie, wasnt that good. My Super Ex Girlfriend was fairly funny and the Adam Sandler movie Click was watchable, not great but not bad.
While i am away i still keep an eye on the scene who joins where, tourney wins etc.... kudos to Oxfest on attracting some top players, and i saw that old Ampy joined them too, he should be a great contribution to the family fun!!
Thats it for now , i miss seeing some of you, im sure quite a few do not miss seeing or hearing from me :-) GL and cya eventually.

Crybabies strike again

It seems that someone in Interleague has taken offense at the mention of member league tourneys that happen after Interleague is over for the night. Things like petty jealousy and bullshit like blackballing players was just the beginning and now the whiners go after the tds and leagues too. What a shame. Why dont you people concentrate on refining your game instead of attacking people for harmless advertising?

Crybabies

I used to be proud to be a member of every wordox league . Then one day i got to talking to Richard/aka Wordman and told him i thouht about starting a site where i could speak my mind about ox and other ox players could respond. I forgot about that idea for awhile then after another conversation with Richard concerning WordoxUnited letting Amplify join he reminded me of our prior talk. I had been hearing about blogs and decided to start one of my own as relates to my life , my thoughts on the wordox game and community and whatever else i decided to put on here.
As i started writing my enchantment with leagues quickly faded for the most part and i figured out why... Crybabies, You know, the people who run to administrators every time they lose a game or if someone plays a weird word or someone (heaven forbid)makes an off color comment. Include the gutless ones in that as well. The ones who boot people from their leagues because they win. Tittybabies and pussies.
Putting your thoughts into writing is about the only way to raise hell in the online world, im gonna do so as long as i feel like it , also no matter what league i belong to (if any) i remain first and foremost a hellraiser and i have my eye on the ox world , im not afraid to say what i want and if ya dont like it bite me.

Ricky

Ricky withdrew from synergy exox and interleague. Why you ask? He got into a dispute with minifrump over reprting matches, she wanted to take it to the admin of the league in question, so he withdrew instead. Dude..... why the fuck is there always a problem with you reporting matches? This has gone on for years dating back to when you first joined wordplay. If you lose you report and then play the next game, its that freakin simple. Your opponent doesnt mind waiting for the report. Entering a tourney and leaving after 1 round is 1 thing, you have that right even tho its weird but the report thing i fail to understand. You know better. Whether she didnt report a match is beside the point, if you lost you report immediately, no ifs ands or buts. Your getting pissed off and withdrawing will likely please some people but you could have saved yourself a hell of a lot of bullshit and trouble over the years by playing by the rules. Shame on ya.

A few resolutions

For 2007 i resolve to spend more time with my kid, take her new places, teach her more about the world and give her new experiences. I resolve also to have more fun and care less what people think about it . I will cut back even more on the drugs and alcohol. Right now i usually get toasted once a week. Maybe once a month will be better for me. For my online friends i promise to try and be more light-hearted and less spiteful about the people who are buttholes or who are otherwise "better people" than me or my pals. That should be plenty to work on for this year.

What makes a cheater?

We all know that words programs etc are illegal . Some people consider others to be cheaters if they have word lists , a scrabble dictionary , a regular webster or even post it notes by their pc. Heres the chance to throw out an opinion for the world.

One last point

After this post i am finished (i hope) writing about the Shadow/Exox situation. Lets hope this is clear for everyone. Whether Shadow cheats or not the admins of exox were well within their rights to boot him. It didnt need to make sense, they didnt owe anyone an explanation now or ever for one simple reason. Exox is a MYleague , My being the key word. The Admins own it lock stock and barrel. If the admins want to tell the tds to jump like freakin kangaroos they can. If they want to boot every other player they can. If the admins at Synergy came along and said we dont like that arrogant bastard Perrin , lets boot him they can. Why you ask? Like i said because they own the league . Its not a democracy , its a dictatorship (sometimes its a benevolent dictatorship but still a one person rule ... the HA) . One person in most cases controls the kill button for the league and they can do whatever they want. Its not a Cases Ladder with safeguards . The admins control everything , and the players decide to play in that league or another , its that simple. Right , wrong whatever they have every right to do as they please when they please how they please and if you the player takes issue with that you have 3 choices. Grin and bear it, find another league , or quit the game completely. I hope that clears the situation up for everyone involved.

ReButtal

Holy Ladderbucks Batman, an admin lowered himself long enough to address the rabble. Let me be the first , maybe the only to toss out a rebuttal. To see that comment from the admin go to the letter from shadowy comments section. I won my first 55 or so games in exox and i won every tourney i played there 10-12 i think plus a number of tourneys in other leagues all at the same time before i lost a game. I did it and i know other players that can do it too. And yes Ron , my arrogant ass doesnt play at extreme because i chose not to and apparently my reasoning was correct. I didnt make that decision because of the competition either i made it because of the stupid ass rules the current administration implemented concerning players and tds. Yes exox has some good players with players from every league competing there. So if my comment in another post about synergy being tops pissed you off just suck it up... you are a big boy now supposedly. Synergy was top level when i created exox and with the demise of wordplay it remains the top.

Redfan sightings

I saw redfan in soc 2 ..... wait there he is in wordsteal, no he was in wordoxunited or was it oxfest? Nope that was just a Shadow. Congratulations Junior!! You are now a member of the "Oh Shit! is that Redfan?" Club International. Perks include (with paid dues) a monthly supply of batteries for your gen, permission to be a smartass anywhere you want and a get out of the penalty box free card. All set? noooooooo you arent. Benefits also include a few extra superpowers. You can join other leagues with a different name and be confused with redfan. You can also be called a cheater either behind your back or to your face, you will know the behind your back accusations when p.m's are dropped by mistake. You also get to tell the whole ox world to F-off anytime you want!! Welcome to the Elite!!

A letter from Shadowy

I arrived home tonight and had this in my email along with a note asking me to publish it here.
I will write a post on my thoughts on the matter later this weekend.

Hello, oxers! This is Shadowy_Niddyz here, recent evictee of the eXtreme ladder. What a surprise it was to dash into my room on Friday night (December 29, to be exact) to register for Ayla's no pinks tourney only to find that I wasn't a member! I contacted Ayla through yahoo and she informed me that she had received complaints about the fact that I had won ten tourneys in a row and had a very large streak (34, I think she said) going. Majority ruled, so to keep the peace, eXtreme kicked me off the ladder.
There's the story, in case you haven't heard it, and I'm going to come out and say that I don't blame eXtreme or any of its members in the slightest! Honestly, putting myself in your shoes...I'm not sure if I would even believe myself. Some kid shows up, wins a ton of games, plays words he doesn't even know the definitions for...it certainly looks suspicious! It's natural and normal to think that the kid is cheating.
Heck, when Josh (sorry to drag you into this) first showed up, I suspected a generator. Some days when he kicks my sorry rear in ladders, I wonder how he knows those words. The thing that lets me know he's not a cheater is that Josh is ready and willing to give new words a shot. Sometimes it works---oftentimes it doesn't, and players capitalize on that to beat him. Even when no mistakes like that are made, Josh still gets beaten, and so I made my own judgment that he's not a cheater. He could've learned those words by watching his mother play, or by memorizing a dictionary! : p Whatever it is, I made that decision for myself.
All of you out there, I'm sure, have your opinions on Josh. You also have them on me. I understand that; we all make decisions based on what we know. Therefore, I want to give you a little more information.
I've been playing wordox since---I think---the seventh grade. I met a woman in social one one day---mitlarheel or miltarheel or something like that, it's been ages---who referred me to league play. Curious, I went to Pairs as she suggested and checked it out. At the time, TileMistress was running the Wordoxtournies league. I joined, and promptly got kicked in the face repeatedly. I remember that I was 3-27 after a week or so with a massive losing streak, but I was proud of those wins. Those of you who were around then are familiar with my history there. That's right, I'm talking to Holly...JoanieAt...Perrin (as TheTerminator, I believe, who I beat once and was darned proud of it, too!)...Mummy...Pam...Ceedie...Rick...Nanc...the list goes on and on. I remember playing you, losing to you, and striving to get better while having fun all the while. After a while, Tile approached me and asked me to become a TD. I was thirteen at the time, but I accepted, and went on to host tournaments and play as often as I could, soon becoming a Head TD. It was a lot of fun to host, as well as to play---to keep learning and having fun while doing it. Anyone remember Millie? Always used to play on table fifty...she taught me a lot of lessons (including the word MOUSER, wherein I learned what the orange dots were for). How about Peachblossom? HartDucha (and her many aliases) was a particularly difficult opponent of the time, too. I learned something from everyone I played and eventually improved on my game.
Without going into too much of WT's past (it's a little ugly), Tile gave the league to AvonLisa after some things happened within the league. WT became OxFest at that point---I think May of 2004, forgive me if I'm wrong. After a couple of months off, I felt the urge to direct again, so I became a TD at OxFest. I was promoted to HTD after a bit. Things were hunky-dory (sorta) for a time, but then, after a good battle, Avon's husband died of cancer. She and her co-admin PeanuttiestOne left the league, and so Rica and Wordthief stepped up to head it. As of late, I've become the third member of the admin team, and I couldn't be happier at the Fest. Sure, we don't get too many tournaments to run, but we try. We have fun. C'est la vie, non?
There's my past, in a nutshell. There's more, though, so if you're still reading, take a break and get some cookies or something, please. :-)
Looking around at the members of eXtreme, I see plenty of faces that weren't here when I started. I never did branch out from Oxfest until interleague came around. When it did (first as a general meeting place with no stats, then as a league itself when experts became open), I soon joined. It felt like my days at WT---I was getting whipped, but this time I held my ground a little better. Queenie, Bigwurm, Wordman, Dorcas, Cleo, Perrin, Ivy, Blu, and so many others have beaten me in Experts and still continue to do so. Yes, I won tourneys there when I first started, but I remembered how to get blown out of the water once more.
Finally, when I heard that Melisca was hosting partners tournaments on Sundays in eXtreme, I got off my keester and joined. Partners, out of all the quirky games I play, is my absolute favorite. I'll team with anyone and do my best; it's fun! Give it a try if you haven't. Anyways, I joined eXtreme, got my butt handed to me in partners (courtesy, I believe, of WitchWord), and played every now and then.
Since I've been on vacation lately I decided to spend my nights in Social Room 2, playing eXtreme tournaments. Of late, I managed to win quite a few (some by the luck of the tiles) games there and became the number one rank on Wednesday (I think) for the first time ever there.
Then came Friday, and we're back to the present.
So...there's that extremely long summary and my wordox life story. Those of you who have the stamina to keep reading may be wondering why I've asked Perrin to post this, and here's why: I don't cheat. I've been around for a long time, as I've just long-windedly explained. I take my chances with words (ever seen my ATTENTION ALL comments in the lobby? Yeah, those are words that I thought worked, and I played them...only to find that they don't) and sometimes it works. I stack and pray sometimes that vowels are lacking. Yeah, I know a lot of weird words. It's because I've been playing for six years. That tends to happen. Someone who immigrates (or emigrates, whatever it is) to another country eventually learns the language by hearing it over and over again. It takes a while, but they grasp it.
To those of you that petitioned for my removal, I want to say that I understand your stance completely. It certainly looks suspicious that someone as young as I am is as good as I am at this game. You didn't know my past, most of you, and I understand that because of that you were inclined to believe that I cheat. I don't agree with that statement, obviously...but I understand why you believed that.
I've laid out my story here for you to read. Believe or don't, that's your choice...heck, that's why God gave us free will! I place no blame anywhere. In fact, if it helps, I forgive you. I know that sounds a bit self-righteous---heck, this whole thing probably sounds self-righteous---but I am still a child. In my naivete, I want to be everybody's friend, but I guess that it's time that I face facts and realize that not everyone is going to like me. I've tried my best, but if you don't like me...hey, you don't like me! That's all right. It hurts, but it's all right. I will live.
To the administrative team of eXox, I thank you for doing what's best for your league. If my presence there caused so much tumult, perhaps it's best if I don't play there any longer. I'll do whatever it takes to keep the peace. I would've appreciated being asked to step down (which I would have done) instead of being ejected, but the end result is the same and that's what ultimately matters.
In fact, if the wordox community doesn't want me to play at interleague anymore either---or oxfest---feel free to ask the admin teams of those two leagues (I would, naturally, not be a part of the deciding team in oxfest in this matter) to have me step down and play no longer. I will very gladly host tournaments for all of you. It's something I enjoy, and if I can't ox, then I'd at least like to help out where I can.
I guess that's all I really have to say. I just wanted to get this all out into the air, and I thank Perrin for allowing me the means to do so. Feel free to e-mail me (sshrew777@hotmail.com) or leave a comment here regarding this matter (I hope that is okay, Perrin, I don't mean to infringe). I'll gladly answer anything anyone has to say. If you have evidence that I cheat, then by all means please present it to me...I'd like to see it! Just please, please...show a little class and keep it out of the wordox rooms. If you want to have words with me and don't want to do it here, then arrange it in private. It is what is best.
Thanks so very much for the wonderful games, and "good luck" to you all.
--Shadow
