a bit of my ox history.

I first played ox in the java version for about a week then a friend named greateyes took me to Hoyle and then my real career began.... that was several years ago. At the time i played in soc 1 then found out about tourneys hosted by flipside which owned hoylegames. I began to play in those won a couple, thought i was hot shit lol and then one day a tourney came up. A friend told me to watch out for a player named Dorcas, i doubt she remembers this but she beat the hell out of me fast. My name then was Kes and in her profile she had the addy for the wordplay league. i met the head admin lostinthoughts a few weeks after that and she talked me into joining. I had told ricketytick who was a new player that i joined i think he did too but he came in and my first opponent was a guy named mrrocksonrocks. I won the first one lost the second one won the last 3 a day per opponent was all you could do. but even tho i won 2 out of 3 it was a war. i was also hooked instantly. Played a few people that day then that night i met my next good beating. A player named HartDucha beat my ass i squeezed out a win in the second game somehow but the words she threw at me were amazing. so on i played entering tourneys getting better. Played my first pards tourney with my good friend roxy60 who was very nervous but we actually won the thing. I moved up the ladder and eventually took my first # 1 from a guy named Stilt, btw #1 for each league will hereafter be referred to as the belt or the title mostly. I took it from him and lost it the next day to a guy named bogglicious. He had attitude too and i miss playing him.
eventually a guy named redfan i talked about in an earlier post told me about another league in the beginners room called wordoxunited which is still active and is now the oldest ox league in existence. Wordplay was in experts but i was very active so i joined united too. Learned to TD there then became a td at Wp. about that time redfan was making a league(my suggestion) in soc 2 and called it wordox4adults. i tded and admined there for a few days got into it with red opted out and created a league in the Pairs room called Wordoxtournies, of which oxfest is an offshoot. Lost offered me admin at wp so i gave wt to a lady named Tilemistress. At that time the details dont matter some players left Wp and formed Synergy. United moved to soc 3 and some players left it and formed Accord in beginners. I played in those leagues under assumed names for years because i felt guilty about being admin at wp and going elsewhere to play but a tourney is a tourney. I played as Perrin in WFA to aggravate redfan , played in synergy accord united Wt oxfest after wt died etc... Eventually a split happened at wp and at the time wfa had just closed . Kissthis dared me to create a league so extremeox was born. It has been very much fun tho im done with being an admin anywhere i will still host a few T's. I finally gave exox to Aylalei and she does a fantastic job which allows me to terrorize all the leagues lol. The java ox had a cases ladder and when java closed we allowed them to share our room and fsw now has a room of their own. The only 2 leagues i have yet to hold the belt in are oxfest and accord but i will soon grab those too. I dont consider any league a minor league anymore because so many peeps play in them all. The best i have done so far is hold simultaneous titles in syn exox united and fsw. didnt last long but im the only one to do it. a few have held titles in 2 at once i think. I also was the champ at united syn and wp all at once but under assumed names cos i was admin and i vacated the syn as soon as i got it. Long ass post huh? enuff for the moment bbl
