"V for Vendetta" is an excellent movie: a biting socio-political commentary disguised as an action movie with sprinklings of history, a shade of romance, and thought-provoking dialogue and fine performances throughout. It just came out on DVD. I highly recommend that you ("you" meaning "anyone who is reading this") rent it post-haste.
and to think, all that coming from a comic book
