The people have asked about a recent post i removed. after i posted it i had time to think about it certain phrases came to mind such as ... He took a gun to a knife fight and he fights battles of wits with unarmed individuals and why the big fuss over a monkey ho? So the line of thought when i removed it was this , Ballsac breath wasnt worth the space i used to type out the post. Even writing this explanation is an effort lol
Anyway.... Dorcas refused to quit if i passed- how unfair of her lmao. Wordman however said he would quit. I think he was just bullshitting me tho. Is there anyone that will quit if i pass? A cheap win is still a win... just like a weirdox F***-up win :-)

Hmm so if no pinks is a bastardized form, what about the s rule? I think that weirdox does level the playing field for new players and the point of a cheap win (as you call it) is to encourage new players. Nothing can be more discouraging to new league players than to continually lose, ok for a time, they expect that but it does take a while to get to the stage where they are in with a chance. If weirdox keeps em playing so that they learn new words and strategies then I think it is a good thing. Of course the other thing is that they are more likely to get a win as some of the top players avoid weirdox!!
As to the passing strategy, no I wouldn’t quit but I wouldn’t pass back if there was a move available even if it means giving away a pink! I hate it when people pass to avoid giving away a pink, as soon as they pass they have the advantage, either the other person goes and gives them the pink or they pass back and the original passer gets a new rack!! Does anyone ever use the passing strategy other than because of the pink?????? Now I prefer to play no pinks because of this.
Yes, there is at least one other instance when players will pass (or pretend to "play" by making a word they know is not good) - and that is at the end of a game when the only play available does not make enough points to win.
They pass knowing I will play or won't have enough points to win myself, so they can win the next turn. THIS is the only instance where I would quit (and have, on rare occasions) - since there is no point in making a play and the win is guaranteed for my opponent.
The instance Jeff refers to in this post (where I would not quit if he passed) was just a joke he made between us... but it was one of these end game situations.
The reason it was hopeless for him was that he needed 4 points to win, and I only needed 2 points, and there was a 3-point word on the rack. Hence the joke :)
Twinny (Mummy) and I are of the same mind on this. I don't like people who pass to win the game - AT ALL. I believe in the gameplay idea that you play what you get. You open to the clear? That's what you were dealt.
You can pass if you want. If you're that hungry for a win, fine. I'll just think you're scum for a while - a long while. End of story. :)
